Densely engraved with fine calligraphic Thuluth script, Arabesques and foliate scrolls, further engraved with a European armorial device, struck with the Tughra mark of Abdülhamid II (1876-1909), maker’s mark, and fineness mark to both the body and the handle, the underside with two assay scrapes.

Condition: Excellent consistent with age, the engraving remains bright and crisp.
