A beautiful and very fine quality Royal Doulton hand-painted and gilded porcelain vase/bowl, in the Sevres style, painted by the famous Percy Curnock MBE.

The reserve is exquisitely painted with a bouquet of flowers, signed "P. Curnock" lower right, and is within a gilded border. The rest of the body is decorated with trailing foliate scrolls in gilt on a cobalt blue ground, also done by hand. There are two lemon and white neoclassical style handles to the sides.

Condition is excellent though it may once have had a cover, and this is reflected in the price.
