The bulbous body painted with a cock pheasant by and signed "Jas Stinton" on a lemon ground quatrefoil neck with gilt rim, the underside with printed puce crown and circle mark with date code for 1911 and model number G789.

Very good condition with some very light wear to the gilding around the collar.

James Stinton, a member of the famous Stinton dynasty of painters who worked for the Royal Worcester factory for some 160 years, was well-known for his depictions of pheasants and birds.
