David Walker first started in the antiques and decorative arts world twenty years ago. He has over a decade of experience working at international auction houses, including most recently as Vice President at Sotheby’s, the former head of the 19th century furniture, sculpture and decorative arts dept., and a Senior Specialist in the Valuations dept., both in New York. He has sold over $12 million in antiques to various private, trade and institutional clients during this time. Particular areas of interest include Fine French and Continental furniture and decorative arts, European sculpture, American and European Silver, and fine Printed Books and Maps.
